The World Bank’s World Development Report 2023, “Migrants, Refugees, and Societies,” proposes an integrated framework to maximize the development impacts of cross-border movements on both destination and origin countries and on migrants and refugees themselves. On April 28, 2023, The Center for Global Development, Refugees International, and the World Bank Group held an event to launch the World Development Report 2023. During this event, the authors provided a presentation of the report followed by a forced displacement panel discussion, which focused on key takeaways from the report and finding sustainable solutions to refugee crises.
