President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum is set to take office on October 1. She has unveiled her cabinet members, who will presumably act as her most trusted advisors over the next six years. Many of these nominees represent continuity, having previously worked in President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's administration. Sheinbaum also aims to establish equal gender representation in a Mexican presidential cabinet for the first time, leveraging existing gender parity laws.

Key positions yet to be announced include the Secretary of National Defense, Secretary of the Navy, Head of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Director of PEMEX, and Director of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).
