Grays Bay Road and Port Project

Construction of a 277-km all-season road linking the northern terminus of the Tibbitt-Contwoyto Winter Road to a deep-water port at Grays Bay on the Northwest Passage. The combined road-port project would connect the mineral-rich Slave Geologic Province to Arctic shipping routes and provide an overland connection between Nunavut and Canada's national highway system.
