Bodø runway

New Bodø Airport is a proposed development that will replace the existing Bodø Airport. The project is under the country's National Transport plan 2018-2029. Norwegian airport operating body, Avinor, expects the new airport plans would require an investment of USD646-718 million. The existing Bodo Airport is under consideration to become a military airport. Jun-2020. Avinor selected the recommended conceptual design for New Bodo Airport. The preliminary project is expected to be completed by the end of 2020, with the opening scheduled between 2024 and 2026. New Bodo Airport is expected to have a total capacity of 2.3 million passengers p/a.
